Beach Yoga & Run an initiative by arculex (Manggal Arc Event Management Services Pvt Ltd) in association with Road Running Club (RRC) and Anahata Yoga on the occassion of celebrating International Yoga Day to create awareness on the benefits of doing Yoga before Running.
This is a good reason, because yoga stretches the muscles that are tight, which in turn increases the range of motion in related joints. Increased flexibility decreases stiffness, results in greater ease of movement, and reduces many nagging aches and pains. Strength Runners are strong in ways that relate to running.
We welcome all Runners, Cyclists, Sports Professionals, Individuals, Schools, Colleges, Clubs, etc., to be a part of this event and avail the benefits, whilst spreading the message to your group.
Yoga Session for 30 Minutes, before the run which includes: Basic Breathing Exercise, Basic Warmup & Streches, Surya Namaskar (Salute the Sun), Acro Yoga (Partner Streches), Relaxation & Meditation. Where as the Run is a barefoot Run in the beach sand, which has 3 cactegories of 2 Kms, 4 Kms & 6 Kms.
T Shirt, Trophy (1st 3 Finishers), Medal, Certificate & Refreshments will be provided.
