Description

Fair is Foul & Foul is Fair revolves around the lives of two women from very diverse backgrounds. They are like puppets on a string, enmeshed and entangled in problems and issues that control their every day lives.

Rosa is from the fishing community in Thoothukudi. Her family has been deeply affected by the troubles and the machinations of big industry. How does Rosa deal with her situation?

Vaidehi is from a very conservative Brahmin family in Kumbakonam. She has led a stifled

life, and is rendered incapable of charting her own course. She is where she is mainly because of the  strangle hold of societal mores.

We watch the travails of these two women as caste, class and gender clash and tear their lives asunder.
